And here is a close up of each cute, little face the day after they were born.
Bennett and then Llayton.
But when she would start to push, Llayton's heart rate dropped. But they continued to proceed with Dr. Groom there. Without going into every detail, it became clear that they may have to do a c-section. They were actually prepping the o.r. for that. Dr. Groom used a suction cup attached to his head to help bring him through the birth canal. With one final attempt, giving it everything she had, with nurses pushing down on her belly, Llayton finally came out. And, with a whole head of BLACK hair! Boy, we were surprised at that.
He weighed 7 lbs 8 oz. was was 21" long.
I am so grateful to be able to witness the miracle of birth. Although it is so hard to watch someone you love go through a difficult time, physical or emotional! I feel so fortunate to be a part of it to document the event with my camera. And I am so glad to live in this day and age where a difficult delivery doesn't mean loss of lives. I love that modern medicine and advancements have made it much easy to have babies now than even when I had my babies
Another baby to rock, snuggle, hold, kiss and love! We feel so blessed!

With permission from Bree....some favorites!

I will post the entire session on my website later.
Thanks Brett and Bree for a fun afternoon!
