Baby Amara

Sesily was scheduled for a C- section on Monday, March 30. Amara was breech - feet first, well, just one foot. The other one was over her head. However, on Sunday, she started into labor. They did not want her to labor fearing that she would become lodged further down in the birth canal making it more difficult for them to take her out.

She was born around 10:45 am Sunday, March 29, 2009. 6 lbs. 1 oz, 18 inches. The doctor said she was so twisted up, one leg down, one up, and arm around her head and one behind her...

Trent thought it was much easier than watching her go through a regular birth. Too bad it is a much harder recovery.

I hear other say she looks like Ella but I think she looks exactly like Cohen. She may have more olive skin though like Ella than Cohen. And She has more hair than either of them did! She has a perfectly little round head. She is a doll! Another little baby to love and adore!
