Princess Ella

What a little princess she is! Ella thurned three and had a wonderful princess party where all 8 little firneds dressed up as princesses and there mommies, the queens, were invited to. Sesily had a darling little princess party with yummy 'royal' food. The girls and the mommies made little tutu skirts. The crown cake was decorated by the girls. It was delightfully fun and so nice that Sesily's sisters and mom came down for it. Gabbi had princess dresses for all the girls to wear. Good thing they are all about the same size. So much fun!
Monica and Ella...
Lana and Gabbi - she does love Sesily's sisters!

Poor little princess has a black eye (Cohen 'accidentally' threw a toy at her!)

Lana and Maddi with Chloe (Maddi's baby) and Amara.

Llayton was the only boy allowed, so of course, we had to make him feel a 'part of the party'!

Sesily and one of her friends made these darling cake balls.

Amara was laying in Gabbi's dress on the floor. She's a keeper!

All the queens! Heidi, Lana, Maddi, Gabbi, Bree & Sesily.

Happy Day for Tyson

This was a happy day for Tyson...
He is a bow and arrow hunter.

Love these boys!

I absolutely adore these boys! They are such an incredible blessing in my life. I love their unique personalities, what makes them click. I love their enthusiasm for life. I love their deep commitment to the gospel and I KNOW they love the Lord. I love watching them teach their children and things of life but most importantly the gospel - how to pray, holding family home evening with them, morning prayers and scripture study with them, blessing the food, letting them hear their own prayers to Heavenly Father. I love watching them accomplish their goals and how they balance that with their family life. I love seeing their children and how their personalities reflect that of their dad's. I love watching them comfort their children. I love how they love their wives. Each wife is perfect for each son. I love talking to them. I love their goodness. I love who they are and who they have become. They are an inspiration in my life. I feel blest everyday to be a part of their lives. Thank you, Kenny, Trent and Brett (and I love Lana too!) Beach vacation

Our familee spent several days in Oceanside, CA at the beach. We enjoyed it so much last year that we have decided to make this a yearly event (at least for now). We stay at a resort so each familee has their own room or shares with one other couple in the familee. Sometimes it would be nice to stay all together in a house so that we could play games easier at night, but this works with all the little babies and their sleeping schedules.

We grocery shop when we get down there and then divide up the meals.

Chad and Trent still spend time working but take a break for activities. This year everyone had different schedules. Tyson didn't come because he was in Canada (but flew home to Vegas early) so Lana left to be with him. Bree's family was on their annual beach vacation the very same week so they went back and forth between the two families. It worked out good for them in that we were only 30 minutes apart. Megan left early to meet up with her sister's and Mom for their 'girls retreat'. It was wonderful, cool weather and we enjoyed the time down there.

The US Midway tour was really interesting. A person could spend all day there - it is massive!

We met up with some of Bree's family to play water kickball. (That was what Megan's family played for Kenny's birthday.) Brett arranged an area to play, at the high school near by. He found the field manager of the school and he was kind enough to let us use their water. Leave it to Brett to make things happen! The kickball pictures are at the end of the post. I am reminded over and over again, when something looks so easy to do, nope! It's not! Not for me! There isn't a bit of athletic talent in my body. I mean, really, how hard can it be to kick the ball (well, I actually did do that but certainly not very far) but I never made it even a base! Then, I look like a goof trying to pitch.

But the worse of it all...sliding on the slip and slid. Really, how hard can THAT be! You just....slide. At least everyone else does. Not me! I just stuck right there where I landed and did a chest plant! And, well, it didn't feel so good then or several days afterwards either! So I just really need to be a spectator. And thank heaven's none of my children in herited my athletic ability! I guess I'll stick with knitting and photography. I am pretty safe there!

Chad working!

Mr. Bennett is ALWAYS hungry. I am certain he has a hollow leg. That cute boy eats all the time. And not just a little bit, either. Don't you love his hair - bedhead!

Cute Llayton.

Bree and her family, her mother, sister-in-law Heather and sister Alese (I think I spelled that wrong.)

My one athletic skill...

Then Brett got me out...

Sesily & Bree and Brett & Lana on the slip and slide....

Check out this form! The last picture is where I 'stuck' - nope, no sliding for me!

Harrison's and Lee's...

It was a fun time. Right after we got home, Chad and I went to Chicago with the SUV choir (now that was an adventure) and then went straight to UT for education week. Summer's over; I am always sad to see it end.
Kenny starts is 2nd year of Law School, Trent starts is first year of on line classes through Harvard and Tyson is finishing up at UNLV.

Cabo San Lucas....July 2009

Cabo San Lucas...a bit cooler than Las Vegas in the middle of July and a great place to spend the week with Trent's familee. The cool water of the resort pool and the warm water of the beach was a delightful. We ate good food, rested, played with the kids, enjoyed being with Trent and Sesily and saw a bit of the city. Of course, Chad and Trent still worked! That is one of the joys about having an internet base business, you can work from anywhere! Thanks for inviting us on your vacation!

Trent and Sesily planned a vacation to celebrate Trent's graduation from University of Phoenix where he has been attending for the past several years. He graduated with his Bachelors in Finance and will be starting in the master's program this fall. (The first three class he will do on-line from home.)

We stayed at a wonderful resort called Cabo Azul. The whole back wall was glass and looked over the ocean. Besides a terrific view of the ocean, there was great light for photo shots. I took advantage of it!

Sheer delight for Cohen!

Ella, Amara and Cohen had to wear their hats when they we in the water. Can you tell how much Cohen likes his hat! It was so dang cute on him but he just really hated wearing it.
