My mother is involved in the Daughter of Utah Pioneers Organization.
They had a project to create of video of one of their ancestors.
Mary Elynore Porter Lay, my mother's grandmother, was fiercely afraid of Indians.
Stick horse were crafted, costumes were gathered and with the story outlined,
the grandkids recreated a story about Mary Elynore Porter Lay and the day Indians came to her house.
They were shouting 'Pana, Pana', which means bread.
Mary thought the Indians wanted her pans. And that is what she gave them!
With my mothers voice as narration, Kenny and Megan put together
pictures into a video slideshow.
